MOT inspection
for trailers

The MOT is compulsory for trailers with an authorised maximum mass of more than 3,500 kg. Our qualified inspectors carry out an MOT inspection quickly and carefully. During the inspection, we check among other things:

Braking system
Lighting and reflectors
Suspension and axles
Chassis and couplings

BMWT inspection

For the safe use of work equipment and internal transport means, such as low loaders and extendable trailers with hoisting facilities, we also carry out the annual BMWT inspection. This allows you to comply with legal health and safety obligations.

ZZ registration plates are issued for vehicles that do not meet the statutory technical requirements and are therefore not subject to MOT requirements. At Nooteboom, however, we advise you to still have a BMWT inspection carried out annually. This ensures safety and reduces the risk of accidents or unexpected downtime. Preventive maintenance is essential even for vehicles without inspection requirements.
